Event: Evergreen Drift Invitational

Last sunday there was the first official drift event of the season for Evergreen speedway. Sadly I was unable to attend because of it being invitation only. From the pictures i have seen it looks like it was a very fun event with alot of the more experience drivers having a chance to "shake the cobwebs loose" and get ready for the fast approaching drift season.

The purple S14 that you see here is my friend Levon's and I jawls everytime i see a picture of it going sideways. It rarely leaves its place in the garage and thus why it looks so minty fresh in pictures and in person.

UCF10 Build Update

Haven't updated the blog lately, work and school has been hectic and haven't had much free time. Anyways picked up some Volks for the Lex, idk the exact model but they are fat 5 spokes 18x8 +41. Had to get a massive 30mm spacer for the rear but it sits pretty flush now. Also ordered some curtains and have an hid kit in the works as well. I'll be sure to post some pictures as soon as i can take some decent looking photos.

Daaaamn.

So this past week I was told that one of my classmates from high school has a basically like a softcore porn website. Anyways went and checked it out and all i was thinking was wow wtf? Amy Boon are you serious!?! After letting it sink in I can't really hate on her cause shes doing her thing and seems to be doing it pretty well. In addition to having the website, apparently she is whipping a white nsx now. Fuck thats just ridiculous....hot asian girl + Honda NSX = Jawlsssss. Aha anyways the website is iseekamy.com. Go check it out, maybe sign up if you think shes cute.

Overall leader after 11 hours of racing and 264 laps is IMSA Performance MATMUT 1 and there Porsche 997 GT3 RSR.

Defintely hope to see a 24 hour race during my lifetime.

Hella fun night. Kinda helped pull a transmission and went for a ride in a Audi S4. Ate some free Thai food and was laughing the entire time since I got to Siam's house. As you can kinda see in the pictures Siam has a Silvia front-end along with a full authentic Instant Gentleman kit for his S13. One of the cleanest chassis' in the area, he uses it primarily as a track car but it can be spotted doing DD duty on occasion. Its sure to make you say JAWLS when you see it.

Went to a local NWN meet on Saturday cause I had nothing to do. It was pretty fun to say the least. I got there at about 6:30 and talked to my buddy Quan with the red S14 in the picture. After just hanging out for about an hour we headed to Red Robin and proceeded to mess with the red headed waitress for the majority of out meal. After finishing up we walked back to the Parking Structure and a couple of the guys swapped out the rear suspension on a guys s13. It was pretty epic with the only tools being used included some scissor jacks and a few basic hand tools. I hope this meet continues to be held cause it was definitely worth dragging myself out of the house for.

Checked the brake pads today since I had heard a metal on metal sound for the past few days. Popped off the front right rotor first and low and behold there is barely any pad surface left. Rotor is shot and wrapped very badly so I'm going to do a front brake job tonight. First time ever but I have the LS400 DIY guide from http://www.lexls.com so it shouldn't be too bad.

You need to see this car go in the flesh to believe that it’s actually capable of what you see in the photo’s. It’s 1JZGTE powerplant has minimal upgrades, but the result is nothing short of awesome. Well known as one of the most smoky and loudest cars in the field.

Chassis: Bolt in Roll Cage by Garage-D, Weld on arch extensions.

Engine: 1JZGTE straight 6, standard internals, just swapped to HKS 256 cams.
Turbo: GT35r 0.64 on a modified stainless tubular manifold with Turbosmart wastegate, custom 4″ exhaust. 4″Intercooler. Managment is Apexi Power FC. Fueling is a Driftworks FPR, 800cc injectors, Bosch 044 fuel pump, swirl pot and walbro lift pump, copper 10mm fuel lines throughout.

1st Day back to School

Shit was hella wack. Woke up kinda late and left with 15 minutes to get to school thinking that that would be enough. Unfortunately I was wrong and was waiting for a good 15 minutes as I slowly made my way through the over parking garage @ BCC to try and escape the madness of everyone trying to park. Drove around the campus looking for a parking spot with nothing insight besides the super distant spots near the main road. So fuck it I thought to myself and just went and got lunch. Gotta remember to leave like an hour early in order to get a parking spot tomorrow.

Hi. My name is Isaiah Roberts and I have created this blog for a couple reasons. First I am going to use this blog as another form of keeping track of my '91 LS400 build through out the rest of the year. I already have a build thread on nwn.com but I thought that I could have a more broad exposure with a blog like this.

2nd thing that I want to do with this blog is to have a place that brings everything that is relevent to the Northwest in terms of Drifting/Vip cars and the community to one place.We already have a blogs that are doing this but I thought I'd give it a try just because I have some much free time on my hands.

That is all for now, hopefully I can accomplish these goals and have some daily subcribers by the end of this month!
